Awesome Custom Boxed Invitation
Paper can make a wonderful first impression and when Pam came to the studio armed with a designers' eye and flair for paper I was thrilled to create this invitation experience for her upcoming lakeside Adirondack wedding! The ceremony & reception will be held at the gorgeous Lake Placid Lodge in upstate New York--a luxurious resort and hotel. After gawking at the amazing photos online we developed the concept of a story-line invite that took the form of a horizontal, z-fold invite. The imagery, materials and color palette is based on location of the event and the personalities of both Pam and Craig. The invitation and secondary card were letterpressed in a dark brown and contained by a jute, basket-weaved band. These were then housed in a custom, hand-lined box using marbled momi paper from PaperMojo (paper candy store!). We're so excited to print some additional pieces next week. Stay tuned

The box and the ribbon are picture perfect! Such a great introduction to a wedding!
ReplyDeleteGreat invitations! I love the graphic "look" of trees, and this boxed invites idea works perfectly with this theme. Very unique, gorgeous work: you might as well do a box with wedding invites now as wedding invitations are getting bigger and more like "folders"!
ReplyDeleteWell done :)
