Fall/Winter Letterpress Workshop Dates

Friends! Our letterpress workshops have been scheduled! With such a great response over the summer--we are excited to meet some more stellar pupils this fall! Details on the workshop are below and you can now register online via our website! So 21st century of us (a-hem!)

Introduction to Letterpress Printing:
Saturday, September 11th, 10 a.m - 4 p.m.
Saturday, October 9th, 10 a.m - 4 p.m.
Saturday, November 13th, 10 a.m - 4 p.m.
Saturday, December 11th, 10 a.m - 4 p.m.
Have an interest in printing, printmaking, type, design or just want to try something new? Learn the basics of letterpress printing at our full day workshop! Set your own composition (form) and print on our Vandercook 4T Proof Press! Classes are held from 10am-4pm. Cost is $75, which includes instruction, materials, and no less than 10 prints of your creation. You will also take home 1 print from your fellow classmates! Workshops are limited to 6 people for the most in-depth experience.

Topics covered: brief history of letterpress, setting type, plate printing, mixing inks, selecting paper, and much more!
