Valentines Workshop at French Press

Another great group spent the day learning the basics of letterpress printing this past weekend. This workshop had the theme of 'Valentines Day', which was an option for those who wanted to take advantage of the upcoming holiday. We had some great displays of creativity--from folded cards to large posters! Each student spent the day setting their form (what was to be printed), locking it into the press bed, and then printing! We worked on the shop's Vandercook Proof Press, which is one of the easiest presses to run! Below are some photos from the workshop, as well as the products of their hard work!
